Spotted Flycatchers nest
A nest box erected in my garden which for a few years was occupied by Spotted Flycatchers. These two young birds were the result and the whole family became quite used to my close proximity. The day after this photo the young flew the nest. The last year or two I have had a problem with squirrels taking the young. With a trap I have got my own back but the birds are reluctant to return.
